Data Deletion
This page explains how to request deletion of any data WebFascia holds about you, and how to remove access granted to the WebFascia Facebook App. We take your right to erasure seriously and will act on all valid requests promptly.
What Data Does WebFascia Hold?
The only personal data WebFascia may hold is information you have voluntarily submitted through an enquiry form or quote request form (name, email address, phone number, and message content).
How to Request Deletion of Your Data
To request deletion of any personal data WebFascia holds about you, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to info@webfascia.co.uk with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
- Include your full name and the email address you used when submitting any enquiry or contact form, so we can locate your records.
- We will confirm receipt of your request within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, in accordance with UK GDPR.
- We will send you a confirmation email once your data has been permanently deleted.
Facebook Data Deletion Request
If you have used Facebook Login or connected to any WebFascia-linked Facebook App and wish to remove that connection, please follow these steps:
- Log in to your Facebook account and go to Settings & Privacy → Settings.
- Select Apps and Websites from the left-hand menu.
- Find WebFascia in the list of apps and click Remove.
- Tick the option to also delete any activity associated with the app when prompted, then confirm removal.

What Happens After Deletion
Once your data deletion request is processed:
- Any personal data you submitted through WebFascia forms will be permanently removed from our systems
- Any data held in backup systems will be purged within 30 days
- We will send written confirmation that deletion is complete
- Note: we may retain certain records where required by law (e.g. for tax or legal compliance purposes), but these will be kept to the minimum necessary and will not be used for any other purpose
Your Rights Under UK GDPR
As a UK resident, you have the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") under Article 17 of the UK GDPR. You also have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Restrict how we process your data
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)
